7.22.01
Installed Civic Si rear anti-roll bar. Super easy install. Handling is noticeably better. Also I have now found a rip in the passenger rear trailing arm. So I'll be getting that fixed. More updates soon.

7.8.01
Installed Rear disc swap along with Earls stainless steel braided brake lines and ATE super blue brake fluid. The discs are still warped even though I had them turned (at discount auto parts....serves me right) so I'll be buying a set of power slot rotors for the back. Also, I had to use the lines from the front on the back because I received the incorrect ones (see the install for more on that). Overall the braking is allot better though.

6.2.01
Installed Energy Suspension motor mount inserts (REVIEW). Still waiting on the Proportion valve for the rear brake swap. Also I will be installing Civic Si (99-00) front sway bar (26mm) and rear sway bar (13mm) I will be following the rear install up with a 19mm Suspension Techniques rear sway bar in about another month (good deal on the Si set so I might as well put it on for the time being).

5.19.01
Took the car to the drag strip for the first time since the swap. I got in three runs and didn't really learn what how to launch it until the last run where I realized what I was doing wrong (to bad I didn't get to try a fourth run)
(Click run link to see the slip)

First run: Launched at 3500 RPM and bogged because I slipped the clutch and got a 15.2

Second run: I launched at almost 5000 RPM and slipped the clutch which caused me to bog again and then get way to much wheel spin. resulting in a 15.4

Third run: This time I started thinking, I should just dump the clutch to avoid the bogging problem I am having. So at 4500-4800 RPM (somewhere in there) I dumped the clutch, got a ton of wheel spin for a best time of 15.1

I am pretty sure from the results of the final run that if I was to launch the same however do it at around 3000-3500 RPM I would get the best launch with the least wheel spin and the best time. I am pretty confident that the car is capable of at least a 14.9 and I am most likely not driving the car at its full potential (I by no means a pro drag racer heheh, but I'm getting better). I may bring it out again this Wednesday or next Wednesday..stay tuned!

5.12.01
Not a whole lot going on lately, I welded the test pipe today, fits good and it got rid of some of the squeaks I was getting from the old cat. It is definitely loud for my taste, I am pretty sure when the supercharger comes, it will be way to loud and ill get a high flow cat which should quiet it down some. The rear brake swap is still on hold until I get the proportion valve.

4.1.01
Today I adjusted my valves. They were way loose so I'm glad I did them. I have noticed a big difference now. Much quieter and it seems like I picked up some power. I have my test pipe but need to get to the welder to have it extended to fit. I also picked up almost everything needed to swap my rear drums for GSR disc brakes. 200 bucks for the major pieces. I will be adding the how-to for the valve adjustment, the brakes and a type R rear sway bar within the next week or two. Not much else new with the car right now though. stay tuned

2.9.01
Well, some updates, First I had to get the passenger side CV boot replaced cause it had a tear in it, no big deal (the driver side axle was replaced during the swap). I had a rattle coming from my exhaust hitting the side of the tunnel, the reason for this is because when extending the cat to meet up to the header, he had to weld it at an angle or else the O2 sensor would hit the shift linkage, which in turn makes the exhaust pipe hit the side of the tunnel. Its not a big deal cause I'm getting a test pipe and that will move the O2 sensor out of danger and fix the whole problem. For now I mounted a piece of thick rubber between the body and the exhaust pipe to keep it from rattling. I also installed a rear polyethylene rear shift bushing which stiffened the shifting up even more (I couldn't use the front bushing because the JDM linkage is different on the tranny side)

2.6.01
After a long wait I now have my hybrid!! JDM b18c! With the new engine I also installed the following: ACT street clutch kit (ACT heavy duty pressure plate, Type S disc), Civic Type R Shift linkage (WAY shorter through than my Neuspeed short shifter!), AEM Cold Air Intake (for GSR) modded to fit my civic, AEM water bypass valve (I got this only so that it wouldn't look ghetto where the extra cut was made in the intake so that it would fit in the civic), and a DC Sports 4-2-1 two piece ceramic header. The car is SOOOOOOOOOO much faster now!!! I cant believe how much of a difference it is! I highly recommend anyone that is trying to decide if they should do a swap to go ahead and do it! it is well worth it. I have to take it easy for the next 500 miles cause the new clutch has to break in but even with me going easy on it , it is still extremely fast!.

12.26.00
Paid for the engine 1995 JDM B18C complete swap, $3,400 plus 200 for a custom odb2 to odb1 harness. It should be in soon. in soon :). Also got a Honda Civic Si OEM front under spoiler and I painted my side skirts.

12.8.00
Installed VTEC light (kind of a gauge). You can see how I did this in the How-To section.

10.5.00
Two of my Falken tires (pun intended ;) ) developed bubbles, so instead of worrying about warrantee problems, I took this as a perfect excuse to get new tire. So I bought Yokohama Parada's size 205/45/16ZR (way better and stickier)

9.26.00
Today I installed my Neuspeed Sport Springs, About and inch and a half drop..pretty good, the car is handling much better now. I have also started looking for my new JDM B18C !!(hopefully it will be soon)

9.16.00
Installed a Tanabe Racing Medallion cat back exhaust. nice sound, and the butt dyno tells me there was some pretty good gains.

8.12.00
Installed Neuspeed short shifter with bushing, allot better shift feel and shorter throw compared to the stock setup.

8.9.00
Installed PowerSlot front rotors with AEM pads. (Update) after breaking in the pads and rotors, they are great! stopping is vastly improved over stock.

7.15.00
Installed Autometer gauges, (air/fuel, boost/vacuum, and oil pressure) into a triple pillar mount. pretty easy, also good to know what happening to you car.

7.1.00
Ok, I am starting this project from when I have dates on my mods(I only started listing them after today, so anything I have already done to the car wont be listed. So if you see something that isn't listed, just assume that it was or is on my car) Today I replaced my old crappy Rockford Fosgate subs with 2 new Orion Cobalt 12's. The sound allot better then the old ones..
