Engine Teardown
Kinda
bored one day so we tore down the stock engine fom the hatch.
From the looks of this motor, it had a rough life, must not
had many oil changes as everything is stained brown from burn
oil. Cause of death: Spun bearing on #4 which led to the #4
rod coming apart and going through the block, oil pan, block
again, oil pan again, etc... |
Clutch
Exposion
Check out what happens when a clutch disc separates. Luckily,
after seeing these pictures, ACT replaced the disc and rebuilt
the pressure plate. |

Engine Swap
Taken during the transfer of the b18c from project 99 coupe
to the hatch. The pics in the beginning are of the old engine
which had the pleasure of having number 4 rod go right through
the block. |

Night
The first night we had the EG. Lots of fun, we basically De-Riced
the car. We removed a set of indiglow guages, Silver tint
and some other less then respectable(rice) items. |
